Some Announcements

Heya folks! Bit of a sad one today with a couple announcements. Firstly, we’re very sorry to announce that we will be taking an extended break. Unfortunately, university takes a lot of time and so does this podcast, and we don’t want our quality to drop. We will be back, but a break is needed. Secondly, sadly Megan will not be joining us when we return. Megan’s recently found full-time work and sometimes you gotta prioritise. I would recommend listening to the episode for a better explanation so you can hear from Megan herself, but we hope you will be understanding of the break and why we’re taking it. Thank you all so much for your consistent support for this podcast. We honestly never expected be break the 1000 listeners a week mark, so this is incredible. I just hope you will all be around when we return. Love you all

Conversations: Evie - Open Doors

Welcome back friends to General Queeries! For todays episode we are joined by Evie Ryder from Open Doors! Open Doors is an LGBT youth service based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, and a service that we’ve shouted out a number of times. In today’s episode we focus on the services that Open Doors provides, as well as a few events they hold throughout the year, and the goal of the organisation. It’s a slightly more serious episode this week but well worth the listen, especially if you are still new to the whole LGBT thing. Check a look and enjoy
