The Paranoid Strain is a show about conspiracy theorists.

Now, in practical terms, that means we discuss, provide historical context for, ridicule, and debunk conspiracy theories. But our underlying motivation is, always, understanding why so many people around us believe so many weird, detailed, and demonstrably untrue things.

Your pseudonymous host, Fearful Jesuit, his dulcet, northern European cohost, Dana Unicorn, the Paranoid Strain Orchestra, and an array of expert interviewees endeavor to explain our ever-more conspiracy-theory-addled modern world through carefully researched, fully scripted, thoroughly produced episodes that, together, try to explain each topic as completely as possible.

There’s also lots of cursing and jokes.
